Purpose
  • Construction of cattle shed
  • Purchase of high yielding milch cattle (Yielding not less 8 Ltr in Buffalo, Cross breed- 10 Ltr and Indigenous breed-7 Ltr).
  • Cattle Insurance
  • Expenditure incurred for transportation of animals where the animals are not purchased locally along with transit insurance cover.
  • Shed Insurance
  • Selection process of beneficiaries will be through online mode on first come to first serve basis through the departmental site www.mpdah.gov.in.
  • 1 unit of animals will comprise 25 cattles either all Cross bred cows or indigenous cows or all Buffaloes of similar breeds. No mixing of milch cattles will be there.
  • Indian Breeds of native origin like Sahiwal,Gir,Tharparkar,Red Sindhi,Kankrej.Cross breds as HF, Jersey and among buffaloes Murrah , Bhadawari ,Nili –Ravi, Jafarabadi, Surti, Mehsana will be considered under the scheme.
  • 1 beneficiary will be eligible to take upto 8 units( 1 unit = 25 cattles) i.e Maximum 200 cattles. Beneficiary opting for more than 1 unit can select the type of unit by his choice. For example among 3 units (1 Cross bred, 1 indigenous bred and 1 buffalo unit).
  • Once beneficiary avail the loan, with his regular repayment of the loan. Customer can be eligible for next unit after 2 years.
  • Copies of land records regarding lands owned/leased as certified by revenue authorities.
  • Latest land tax paid receipts are to be produced for verificationØ (Need not be insisted from the borrowers who are prompt in repaying the crop loans at the time of renewal).
  • Original/certified copies of the title deeds and other requiredØ documents to satisfy that the applicant is the true and legal owner of the land should be insisted upon whenever landed property is taken as security/where developments are proposed and ensured that it is free from encumbrance.
  • Whenever construction is involved estimates, layout plan approvals wherever necessary, are to be obtained.
  • The truck freight bill and toll receipt will have to be submitted by the animal owner after purchasing the animal.
  • All animals should be disease free and healthy.
  • Tagging of purchased animals is mandatory and registered on Bharat Pashudhan App.
  • Animals will be purchased from outside State .The animal can be purchased from the respective breeding tract, certified animal market/farmers.
  • Cattle which has to be purchased its calf age should not exceed beyond 1 month.
  • Valuation certificate of the land from a competent authority/approved valuer whenever required.
  • Pre-sanction visit is undertaken to assess technical feasibility and economic viability of the proposal. No loan should be granted without carrying out pre-sanction inspection of the farm unless otherwise waived under any scheme by Head Office as a matter of policy.
